About me
Hi! My name is Alvaro Bonino and, as you know if you have already watched my video from the Home page, I am from Argentina, specifically from the city of Cordoba, the second most populated town of the country, located in the middle of the territory, touching Buenos Aires on the northwest side.
At the age of 10, I left my country with my parents and siblings to live in Madrid, Spain. I lived there for 18 years. I love Madrid! I guess everybody who visits this beautiful city falls in love with it. I consider it my home because I have spent most of my life and my adolescence there.
However, I consider myself Argentinian because I was raised by my parents’ and grandparents’ values.
I also lived in Italy for 3 years, between Milan and Genoa, from 3 to 5 years old. I was very little, but it was useful to learn Italian, that I am still speaking when I have the occasion with my family or Italian friends.
In Spain, already at school, I started to be interested in being a perfectionist in Spanish language. Since very little I have always tried to be a perfectionist in everything I do, and I believed that speaking perfectly my native language was basic as a citizen and as a social being. Since then I always stood out in everything related to orthography, grammar, vocabulary, etc.
Later on, I studied Business Administration at Universidad Autonoma de Madrid. I have always been interested in economy and university is truly a wonderful experience, where you can meet people with common interests at an age you enjoy life so much more after adolescence.
From June 2016 to May 2018, I lived in Australia, in the tropical city of Brisbane. Beautiful weather with no cold, so much green and very clean and peaceful, just 2 millions of people like Cordoba, Argentina. Here we could meet lots of people from many different cultures, that is Australia, and where definitely I decided to dedicate my life to teach my native language because many people I met there asked me to teach them Spanish.
Then, we decided to try it in Mexico, another country with beautiful nature and landscapes like Australia, and with a very rich culture.
After 9 months I needed to feel at home: Madrid.
As you can see, I am a citizen from the world, as everybody is. At the end, we are all humans, all brothers and sisters.
I took a course in Specific Studies of ELE (Español como Lengua Extranjera – Spanish as a Foreign Language) at Cervantes Escuela Internacional, accredited center by the Instituto Cervantes.
Afterwards, I got the Certificate as a tutor of the official exam SIELE (Sistema Internacional de Evaluación de la Lengua Española – International Evaluation System of the Spanish Language) by Instituto Cervantes.
And recently, I obtained the Certificate as an examiner of the official exam DELE (Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera – Spanish as a Foreign Language Diploma) by Instituto Cervantes.
I hope to share with you my passion for teaching and for the Spanish language.

¡Hola! Mi nombre es Álvaro Bonino y, como sabrás si has visto el video de la página principal, soy argentino, más concretamente de Córdoba, la segunda ciudad más poblada del país, situada en el centro del territorio tocando con Buenos Aires en el extremo noroeste.
A los 10 años me fui con mis padres y hermanos a vivir a España, a la capital, Madrid, y allí viví 18 años ¡Me encanta Madrid! Supongo que todo el mundo que la visita se enamora de ella. Para mí es mi casa, ya que allí he pasasdo la mayor parte de mi vida y mi adolescencia.
No obstante, me considero argentino porque me crie con los valores de mis padres y mis abuelos.
También viví en Italia durante 3 años de los 3 a los 5 años de edad. Era muy pequeño, pero sí me sirvió para aprender italiano, que por suerte sigo conservando y me gusta practicarlo con italianos que conozco o simplemente con mi familia.
En España ya en la primaria fue cuando empecé a interesarme por el perfeccionismo en el lenguaje. Desde pequeño siempre he intentado ser perfeccionista en todos los aspectos de la vida, y para mí hablar perfectamente mi idioma nativo me parecía básico como ciudadano y ser social. A partir de entonces siempre destaqué en todo lo relacionado a ortografía, gramática, vocabulario, etc.
Posteriormente, estudié Administración y Dirección de Empresas en la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Siempre me interesó la economía y la verdad que la universidad es una experiencia increíble, donde conoces personas con intereses comunes y ya en una edad en la que disfrutas mucho más de la vida después de la adolescencia.
Desde junio de 2016 a mayo de 2018 estuve viviendo en Australia, en la ciudad tropical de Brisbane. Hermoso clima sin frío, muy verde, muy limpia y tranquila, sólo 2 millones de habitantes como Córdoba, Argentina. Aquí pudimos conocer gente de muy diferentes culturas, así es Australia, y donde definitivamente decidí dedicarme a dar clases de español debido a que muchos amigos que hice allí me pedían que les enseñara.
Entonces decidimos intentarlo en México, otro país lleno de naturaleza y paisajes hermosos como Australia, y con una riqueza cultural enorme.
Después de 9 meses necesitaba sentirme en casa: Madrid.
Como verás soy un ciudadano del mundo, como somos todos hermanos al fin y al cabo.
Tomé un curso como profesor de español en Estudios Específicos ELE (Español como Lengua Extranjera) en Cervantes Escuela Internacional, centro acreditado por el Instituto Cervantes.
Más adelante, conseguí el Certificado como preparador del examen oficial SIELE (Sistema Internacional de Evaluación de la Lengua Española) por el Instituto Cervantes.
Y recientemente, obtuve el Certificado como examinador del examen oficial DELE (Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera) por el Instituto Cervantes.
Espero poder compartir contigo mi pasión por enseñar y por la lengua española.
